Job Description

The Field Planning & Analytics Team (FPAT) interns will be located at our corporate headquarters in Lake County, IL within AbbVie's Commercial Therapeutics Analytics & Operations & Performance Operations group.

The Field Planning & Analytics Team (FPAT) function partners with AbbVie's US organization and is comprised of highly respected analytical and field operational talent strategists who are committed to being best-in-class within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop ability to apply analytic approaches to address field questions
  • Develop understanding of relevant data sources (IMS, Symphony, etc.)
  • Develop expertise in one or more analytic areas such as Incentive Compensation, Sales Planning, Field Tools, Speaker Program Operations or Sample Operations
  • Build understanding of a therapeutic area or capability that partners with our field teams
  • Ability to communicate work progress and findings


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program with a focus in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Math, or related field
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 - June 2026

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Access (MS Office)
  • Exceptionally demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Previous internship/part time job experience
