2025 Infrastructure Analyst Internship

Job Summary:

Textron has several opportunities for Information Technology students interested in pursuing rewarding and challenging opportunities within the IT Infrastructure automation function. Our interns will find challenging opportunities implementing automation solutions across Textron IT infrastructure teams to support the development and delivery of IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data and reports for logical and reasonable outcomes; investigate errors and propose solutions to the problem.
• Meet with IT Infrastructure teams to understand opportunity for the automation of tasks.
• Design, build and test IT automation solutions.
• Attend meetings with employees at all levels of the organization and contribute to big picture business discussions.
• Identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting tasks/assignments.
• Design system specifications and interfaces for interacting components.
• Design and develop automation solutions to functional and technical standards.
• Assist in the implementation of new or improved systems and processes.
• Other value-add assignments and projects in IT as assigned.

• Proficient in a scripting tool such as PowerShell or Python
• Proficient in database technologies including SQL.

Education/Experience:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a major such as CS, MIS, or related specialty fields
• Strong academic performance preferred
• Relevant intern experience preferred.
