About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for :

The A2PATS provides real RF simulations of signals and effects a radar receiver would experience when in operational use

• Work with prototype circuits to develop embedded firmware (microcontroller, C language) and/or FPGA design (VHDL)
• Basic schematic capture to edit existing circuit card designs or add functionality
• Testing and debugging of new products
• Prototypes or circuit card assemblies
• Design of cables and system interfaces
• System integration and debugging (analysis of one or more system components and helping to solve an issue)
• Obsolescence redesign and analysis (research how to achieve same functionality with new parts or circuits)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and drawings (including schematics)
• Previous experience with schematic capture and circuit layout (at the hobby level or capstone project level) is a plus
• Any Radio Frequency (RF) exposure or Digital Signal Processing skills are a plus
• This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
