Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation
vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support
equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in
environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting
preserves.
Responsibilities:
• Complete risk assessments to develop controls to reduce exposure to different elements.
• Evaluate Forklift and ergonomic activities to reduce risks and implement safeguards against common
incidents.
• Perform noise monitoring activities and determine necessary PPE, barriers, and additional risks imposed
on the shop floor.
• Review waste program and audit to meet and comply with RCRA regulations and review permits for plant
locations to determine non- conformities.
• Understand how to classify waste via RCRA determinations and evaluate non-conformities to produce
corrective actions.
• Present in safety committee meetings.
• New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures and completing
problem analysis.
• Assist managers in the write-up and review of safety documents.
• Further develop existing safety programs such as Confined Space, Hazardous Material, Fall Protection, and
Lock out/Tag out.
Qualifications:
• Education: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field required
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SAP
