City of Hope Medical Group Seeks a Medical Oncologist to Join Our Long Beach Team City of Hope, Long Beach provides the community with unparalleled care and innovative cancer treatments closer to home. The Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty with experience in diagnosing and treating both cancer and blood disorders, to join our established practice in the coastal city of Long Beach, Southern California.

This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 450+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in Southern California. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities.

Primary Responsibilities :

• When fully staffed, the Long Beach practice will include a total of 7 providers

o 3 medical oncologists and 4 APPs

• Effort allocation: 90% Clinical with potential for involvement in all phases of clinical trials; the Long Beach Elm location has a strong clinical research tradition that has recently included early phase studies of bispecific T-cell engager antibodies in solid tumors

• Cover two clinic locations: Long Beach Worsham & Long Beach Elm *only 6 miles apart and associated regional hospitals along with the entire provider team

• Relocation assistance available on a case-by case basis

Position Highlights :

• Generous salary and potential for sign-on bonus

o Base Salary: $400k *The salary listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

• Paid Vacation, Personal, and Sick Time

• City of Hope adds 20% of salary to your retirement account ( NOT a match-you don't contribute a penny ) each year; up to a maximum of $61,000

• Relocation assistance available on a case-by case basis

Qualifications:

• Early to mid-career candidates welcome to apply
