- Set up each developer for success and ensure their productivity during every sprint by closely monitoring velocity, throughput, cumulative flows and collaboration with the Development Architect.
- Inspire teams to deliver high-value products and project results through the facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies, to include daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations and retrospectives while avoiding meeting overload.
- Maximize the success of Iterations and Program Iterations by owning and resolving all the listed team blockers.
- Mitigate risk and resolve issues by attending bug-triage meetings, planning product roadmaps and assisting in the assignment of responsibilities to development teams.
- Meet project commitments through the analysis of burndown charts, organization and management of in-sprint stories and communications.
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Agile teams and processes by working with team leadership and managing, maintaining and utilizing Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Build high performing predictable teams to ensure constant velocity, flow and a balanced say-do-ratio.
- Coordinate project activities, to include document repository and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure prioritized work is planned, groomed and executed appropriately.
- Align all dependencies by working with other Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineering and Project Managers.
- Generate and distribute reports on in process sprints and team progress for senior leadership to leverage.
- Guide teams to development success by maintaining simultaneous close working relationship with business partners and development teams across multiple projects.
- Enhance company-wide processes by creating and supporting complex business initiatives.
- Four or more years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Five or more years of industry-related experience
- Experience with software or online services
- Significant track record with medium to large-scale consumer-facing product development
- History of building and releasing products from conception to production
- In-depth technical knowledge across multiple platforms and form factors, including web, phone, tablet and TV
- Expert in the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Deadline-driven with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Eagerness to learn within a new environment and make an impact quickly
- Adept at managing and fostering change while motivating others
- Proven leader with the ability to inspire large cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results
- Willingness to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize them against goals for recommendations
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize multiple projects and tasks independently
- Refined business acumen with a sense of urgency and initiative to accomplish job duties while showing sound judgment, making decisions and resolve issues under pressure
- Solid cognitive, analytical and office management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
