ASSEMBLER/MACHINE OPERATOR

Perform duties to load, operate, and unload automated assembly machines in accordance with standard procedures.

Work from work instruction bulletins or work orders, routers, quality specifications, and operator clean and check procedures.

• Operate automated machines. Load and unload materials, monitor machine operation for jams or equipment malfunctions.
• Visually inspect the completed unit and check conformance according to instructions.
• Record quality test data in a log or computer as required.
• Clean and maintain equipment in accordance with operator clean and check procedures.
• Notify the setup operator and supervisor of material or equipment problems. 6. Prepare time and production records.
• Does not perform machine setup.

Use hand trucks and common hand tools. Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and in orderly condition. Performs other related duties as assigned.
