2nd Shift Kill Floor Supervisor

HOURS:
  • 2nd Shift - flexible as needed or required

DUTIES:
  • Supervise, evaluate and direct production employees on shift in performing operations according to policies and procedures
  • Regular contact with USDA
  • Stimulate maximize safety, efficiency, quality and productivity of production employees
  • Ensure proper training of employees
  • Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production
  • Work closely with other production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in the department
  • Attend meetings as scheduled and called
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have overall knowledge of the Kill Floor Operation and the industry
  • Supervise, evaluate, and direct personnel on shift in performing operations according to sound operating principles an company policies and procedures
  • Stimulate maximum safety, efficiency, and productivity of production workers; ensure proper training of employees
  • Arrange to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained
  • Good work history and attendance
  • Team Player with leadership skills and good communication skills
  • Attend meetings as scheduled or called. Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.
