2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician is responsible for participating in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities.
• Analyze mechanical and operationalproblems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Examine and test equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
• Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records.
• Facilitate equipment moves on the shop floor.
• Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health,Safety & Environmental requirements are met.
• Set up requisitions for supplies, equipment and facilities.
• Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts andconsumables to eliminate downtime.
• Keep most recent documentation related to maintenance.
• Review Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement; propose and implement continuous productivity, process and quality improvementactions for all facilities.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Years of Experience with Maintenance / Engineering.

1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

• Ability to read and understand hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic prints.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues - 24v dc, 120v, 240v, and 3 phase electronic circuits.
• Experience operatingbasic shop tools.
• Journeyman Electrical License
• Welding experience.
• PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
• Excellent Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic circuit troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:
