Responsibilities:
1st Shift:
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues promptly, including adjusting processing parameters or modifying formulations as needed.
- Conduct labeling reviews to ensure accurate and compliant product labeling, including ingredient lists, nutrition facts, and allergen declarations.
- Perform regular audits of production facilities to verify adherence to quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety regulations.
2nd Shift :
- Utilize extensive QA experience to identify and diagnose problems that may arise on the quality line, including defects in products, packaging, or labeling.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address quality issues promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime and production losses.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues, utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying causes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science or at least 5 years in Food/Beverage Industry
- Knowledgeable in Food Safety
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team
- Self-starter--ability to accomplish goals with minimal direction
- Reliable, self-motivated, team player
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, or comparable.
