Apex Systems is recruiting for a Lab Technician to work in the food and beverage industry. Entry level applicants with a Biology or Chemistry background will be considered! This Lab Technician will work in the Batavia, NY area.

Schedule: 2nd shift (12pm - 8:30pm)
Pay: $23.30/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Testing Dairy Products
• Fluid testing
• Bacterial count testing
• Fat testing
• Pulling production samples for analysis
• Performing quality checks and general inspection of product and samples
• Testing flavor on finished products
• Maintain log book as required

Requirements:

• Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Science with basic chemistry, biology, and microbiology or 2 years previous lab experience, strong math, communication and computer skills.
