Responsibilities for this job include:

• Responsible for multiple presses per shift, must operate manual press within cycle times

• Perform/audit first/last article checks according to control plan

• Responsible for monitoring all auxiliary equipment for proper operation and grinding runners where applicable.

• Responsible for weighing and labeling each bag, box, or tote.

• Ensure all labels are correct according to the work order information.

• Responsible for performing dimensional and visual quality checks.

• Responsible for documentation of the quality checks and corrective actions on the Attribute chart

• Prepares all paperwork for upcoming changes.

• Responsible for properly handling and documenting rejected products on the injection molding machines.

• Responsible for housekeeping the injection molding machines and surrounding areas as defined in the department procedures.

• Maintains an open line of communication to ensure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved promptly.

• As requested, assist other team members in cross-training and conduct on-the-job training of other associates.

• Actively participates in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 5S & housekeeping.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications for this job include:

• Previous industrial/manufacturing experience is required.
  
• Reliable transportation and attendance
  
• Able to stand for entirety of shift.
  
• High School Diploma or GED
  
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
  

1st shift is 7:00-3:30pm ($12.00/hr.), 2nd shift is 3:00pm-11:30pm ($13.00/hr.) and 3rd shift is 11:00pm-7:30am ($14.00/hr.)

Pay Details: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour
