Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineer 4 - Data Modeler with a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Erwin for data modeling and experience with Ab Initio and/or Teradata development. This role involves physical and logical data design, proposing data models, and ensuring best practices in data architecture. While coding is a part of the job, the primary focus will be on data modeling and design.

Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling : Utilize Erwin to create, manage, and optimize logical and physical data models.
• ETL Design : Engage in the design and development of ETL processes to support data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Tool Evaluation : Assess and recommend new tools for data modeling and ETL processes.
• Data Architecture : Propose and implement data models that align with business requirements and best practices.
• SQL Expertise : Develop complex SQL queries and scripts to support data modeling and ETL processes.
• Development Support : Provide guidance and support for Ab Initio and/or Teradata development.
• Cloud Integration : Work with cloud platforms to integrate and manage data models and ETL processes.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize database performance through effective data modeling and SQL tuning.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal data solutions.

• Abinitio experience
• Teradata experience
