Job Description

The Department of Radiology of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore is seeking an ABR board certified, fellowship trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join an expanding program in Breast Imaging services that includes affiliated community hospitals. Our practice is integrated with the hospital multidisciplinary breast programs where talented collaborators in Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology are available in a supportive environment.



The interested candidates should have clinical experience in digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and interventional imaging guided breast procedures. Candidates should be committed to patient focused care, interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork, teaching and collaborative clinical research.



The position is for a full-time faculty that can be solely dedicated to breast imaging. Academic time is negotiable for candidates with an academic interest. Breast imagers do not have call responsibility.

Expected rank for this position is Assistant Professor or higher, however, rank and tenure status is dependent on candidate's qualifications.
