Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo (UB), and the John R. Oishei Children's Hospital ( OCH ) are seeking two full-time BC/BE Pediatric Intensivists.

Candidates will be responsible for medical and postoperative surgical intensive care of infants and children, and supervise and teach fellows, residents, and students in Pediatric Intensive Care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Medical degree and a valid license
  • Clinical background in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics, and Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong academic background
  • Interest in pursuing a career in clinical research and teaching
  • Clinical experience in pediatric cardiac critical care to support the ongoing development of a pediatric cardiac surgical unit
  • Board certified/board eligible in both pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiology or have a fourth year of training in cardiac intensive care following a pediatric critical care fellowship (board certified/board eligible)
