The Account Administrator will work on US clients of all sizes. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Global Business Leadership team to help create the industry leading experience. The candidate will need to be one with high energy, a positive attitude, and the desire to solve complex problems.



Description:

• Acquires understanding of insurance brokerage business, account servicing processes, and broader Lockton capabilities through dedicated training programs and practical experience

• Researches and develops understanding of insurance industry trends and regulations

• Supports Account Managers and Account Executives by initiating new client process: collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier

• Gathers and compiles exposure information from the Client, including compiling loss-run schedules and client stratifications

• Analyzes exposures and identifies risks, inconsistencies, and accuracy of reported client data

• Requests and collects quotes (new and renewal) from carriers

• Updates coverage specifications, applications, and summary information to reflect changes during the year

• Reviews and processes policies and endorsements for accuracy of coverage, policy, content, and form completion

• Accountable for all post-bind execution: certificates, policy issuance, and premium payment

• Supports Account Managers and Account Executives in monitoring and managing daily service coordination and risk management needs of clients

• Receives and responds to routine Client’s inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, existing issues, and issue resolutions, supporting Account Managers and Account Executives with complex client and carrier inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent

• 0-3 years of Client services experience is required

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills required

• Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed

• Ability to attend company, department and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions

• Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information

• Effectively organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines

• Willing to work outside of normal business hours if necessary

• Ability to meet or exceed client-sensitive deadlines

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
