Position Summary: The Account Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships, will support the Account Managers and Director Partner Activation by executing administrative and operational tasks to fulfill the needs of our current and future partners. This position requires a self-starter who is passionate about the sports industry business, understands sports sponsorship/marketing and will assist in the development and implementation of activation plans, ensuring all contractual elements are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key metrics used to evaluate performance:
• Renewal rate
• Successful delivery of client contract
• Client satisfaction (survey at end of each season)
Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):
- Assist in the day-to-day servicing needs of contractual elements such as game day hospitality fulfillment, in-arena activation coordination/execution and LED signage submission
- Day-to-day communication with partner contacts and cross-departmental communication/requests
- Deliver impactful results for our partners through activations, community events, IP usage, social campaigns and promotional opportunities
- Partner with the business analytics team to evaluate and analyze best-performing social and digital content and assist in developing analytic-driven partner campaign recaps
- Assist in developing a holistic partnership recap presentation which illustrates the media valuation, overall reach and ROI
- Assist in the execution of partnership contractual obligations, including internal and external communication to coordinate all aspects of activations.
Education (required/ preferred): Bachelor's Degree required
Previous experience: A minimum of one to two (1-2) years work experience in a sports sponsorship environment including marketing, promotions, sponsor servicing and special events
Technology Capabilities: Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), familiarity with analytics software (YouGov, Nielsen, GWI) and social media analytics software (Relo, CrowdTable), and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technological enhancements
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
• Strong written and oral communication skills; must be client-ready and able to professionally interact with all levels of the organization and partner/agency contacts
• Be able to understand high-level insights and deliver campaign strategy
• Motivated individual who is self-starter and can organize short- and long-term projects
• Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented department
• Demonstrated capacity to multi-task, be well organized and possess a strong attention to detail and project management skills
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a min of 25lbs. and walk significant distances in arena on game days
Location: El Segundo (offices M-F), downtown Los Angeles (Crypto.com Arena for Lakers home games), and other off-site sponsor events
Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 5% of the time within Southern California and potentially out of state 2-3x per year
The pay range for this role is $23.00 to $25.00 an hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications
