The Optum Financial Account Executive is an integral member of the sales team dedicated to servicing high value providers. This is a telephonic and virtual sales focused role working to drive adoption of Optum Financial's working capital solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all activities associated with Optum Financial working capital solutions outreach efforts
  • Manage an organized sales process, delivering regular updates on market development strategies, pipeline, and other key indicators of current and future success
  • Meet monthly minimum metrics including calls, e-mails, client meetings, product adoption rates, and financial goals
  • Demonstrate ability to manage large volume of qualified leads through sales process and convert to sold opportunities
  • Apply principles and best in class service practices to achieve department and client goals
  • Interface with other team members to address client, company, and/or department needs
  • Lead or participate in client meetings delivering solid presentation of Optum Financial's value proposition
  • Assist product development, marketing, and other internal teams by providing market feedback
  • Maintain client relationship to ensure long-term partnership that maximizes potential for Optum Financial with clients
  • Possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high paced, high intensity, and continuously evolving business and market environment
  • Support senior sales executives on enterprise level opportunities

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in provider or financial sales
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build ongoing relationships with providers
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with others in a collaborative, respectful and productive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cold calling and remote sales
  • Finance experience in either sales or within finance department
  • Experience working with mid-size healthcare providers
  • Experience with salesforce CRM
  • Results Oriented, Self -Starter who can drive results through persuasive negotiation and critical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (respectful of opinions and ideas of others, able to communicate in a diplomatic and confidential manner)
