Commercial Lines Account Manager

Position Summary

As a commercial lines account manager, you work as the liaison between insurance companies, agents, brokers, and clients. As part of our team, you work with commercial and business clients to service their insurance needs. This is a relationship-focused position, meaning that it requires superb communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for information and documentation
• Handle renewals of expiring policies
• Assist with audits
• Maintain documentation for new and renewing business
• Answer questions about coverage
• Process applications
• Follow up on overdue accounts
• Process policy changes
• Ensure maximum client retention and generation through relationship-building

Requirements and Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook and Excel)
• Customer service or Account management experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance terminology a plus
• Experience with agency management software, AMS360 a plus
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Louisiana Property & Casualty Producer License

Location: Baton Rouge, LA (on-site)

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm

Pay range $45,000 - 65,000 DOE
