As an Account Manager, you'll take charge of client portfolios within the range of our ASAP products ( ASAP , EA Ignite , and APC ), delivering tailored solutions and unlocking new opportunities to achieve outstanding results!

The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving account growth. This role involves managing client portfolios, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and collaborating with the Sr. Sales Manager to deliver seamless service. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to achieving client success and company objectives.

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients focusing on account assignments.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, challenges, and requirements to effectively propose and deliver solutions that align with their goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, aiming to increase revenue and achieve sales targets. Generate leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate to secure new deals and upsell/cross-sell products or services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments. Conduct market research, analyze customer insights, and identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
  • Continuously update knowledge of sales techniques, product/service offerings, and presentation skills.
  • Manage and maintain client data in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline within Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Client account management/sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to take initiative and work independently, while also excelling as part of a team.
  • Maintain continuity between long-term strategic goals and short-term operating plans of the group.
  • Has and utilizes knowledge of the qualities of strong consultative sales.
  • Must be proficient in Salesforce.com, Microsoft office, LinkedIn, collaboration tools like Zoom, Teams, etc. Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in phone communications, data management, customer service, multi-tasking and ability perform within a high-energy, fast-paced team.
  • Must be motivated to utilize sales and customer service skills and be driven to achieve or exceed targeted sales goals.


Work Environment: Diversified Communications offers the flexibility to work remotely and enjoy a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days per week. While this position reports into our office located in Portland, Maine, we are open to considering fully remote applicants.

Travel: Domestic travel is required at least 3 times per year.
