SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, the Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing client relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, selling innovative solutions to meet our customers' needs. This position will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for our Media Management department, which includes document destruction and document imaging services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for document destruction and document imaging business services.
  2. Prospect new customers through cold calling, reviewing bid opportunities, networking, tours, and referrals.
  3. Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customer representatives, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Conduct thorough needs assessments and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the value and capabilities of Media Management services.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless startup, execution, and continued success of projects.
  6. Act as a liaison to address any concerns or inquiries from customers.
  7. Assist operations with time studies and customer site visits to develop scope of work and pricing proposals. This includes periodic travel to customer locations outside of Las Vegas, including other states.
  8. Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  9. Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing quotations to customers.
  10. Negotiate agreement terms, scope of work, and pricing.
  11. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project progress using applicable tracking methods, including CRM software.
  12. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  13. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand our network.
  14. Participate in departmental and organizational meetings and trainings as required at multiple campus locations.
  15. Must be able to meet all requirements of OV vehicle policies and travel:
    1. Between worksite locations
    2. Within the community
  16. Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
  17. May be assigned other duties as needed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not directly supervise others.

Position Requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, team members, and supervisors (verbal and written).
  • Computer literate; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and customer database software.
  • Ability to type at a rate of thirty (30) words per minute or more.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and enforce various compliance, security, privacy, and
  • Ability to resolve multiple complex issues simultaneously while remaining calm in stressful situations.
  • Must possess social perceptiveness to assess and understand other's reactions and behaviors.
  • Ability to work independently and remain on task in a sometimes loud or distracting environment.
  • Comfort with speaking to and working with the public.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, process requests, and problem-solve.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise directions and instructions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to successfully perform under critical deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial analysis as it relates to pricing, time studies, and pro formas.
  • Comprehension of and proficiency writing sales documentation including master service agreements, contracts, statements of work, proposals, amendments, addendums, and RFP submissions.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, administration, marketing, management, or other relevant field. Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Required: Three (3) years verifiable work experience in business-to-business or business-to-government sales.
  • Required: Complete any annual trainings and screenings required for NAID Certification, state and federal compliance, and other Opportunity Village employment requirements.
  • Required: Must have reliable transportation.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of document and records management, HIPAA compliance, and SaaS platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience selling services related to security, data management, or software.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of CRM sales tracking software.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the local Las Vegas market.
  • Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
