Position Summary:

The Account Manager will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers. He/she will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with his/her portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The Account Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

This role will interface directly with our internal teams and systems. You will be asked to solve problems, build reports, business cases, and track metrics and report on them to both internal and external customers. This position requires a motivated self-starter, driven by accomplishment and accountability with strong attention to detail and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

• Coordinates with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc., on design, casting, and product requirements, and strategies for fulfilling those requirements for customers. Ensure the timeliness of deliverables according to internal and customer needs and objectives

• Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

• Forecast, track and report on key account metrics to internal and external customers

• Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with LPC for growth attainment

• Assist with and escalate high severity requests or issues as needed

• Review all Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (P.O.'s) for requirements, and potential profit opportunities; initiates RFQ's for cost estimate; reviews cost estimates and develops pricing strategy

• Enhances PCC's reputation as an ethical, responsive and technologically oriented company

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of aerospace products, services, and market dynamics

• Ability to interpret and understand commercial, technical and program related data and information in customer specific format

• Ability to interface with all levels of customer and PCC management

• Ability to lead negotiation, marketing and technical expertise in a project or team setting

• Excellence in communication, organizational and interpersonal relationships

• Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Fluent with the MS Office suite and other various software platforms including but not limited to ERP systems

Desired Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, finance, engineering, science, or related field of study

• 6-10 years of account management or other relevant experience

• 3-5 years of working with investment castings in the aerospace industry
