Kabelin Ace Commercial Supply - Account Manager
Reports directly to: Kabelin Ace Business Supply - Sales Manager

Position Summary:
As an Account Manager within our Business Supply Division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our business customers have a seamless and positive journey with Kabelin Ace Hardware. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions and support. You will serve as a bridge between our B2B customers, our regional sales managers, and our retail store teams, with the goal of delivering exceptional service throughout their experience.

Major Responsibilities Include:
-Place orders for businesses received by phone, email, website or in person.
-Invoice customers for orders that are expected to be out for delivery.
-Place orders with ACE and other non-ACE vendors.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, actively engaging with them to understand their needs, concerns, and preferences.
-Act as a liaison between Kabelin Business / Pro Customers and the Retail Store Teams, ensuring a smooth and responsive communication channel.
-Provide timely and helpful assistance to customers while resolving issues and addressing inquiries in a friendly and empathetic manner. Proactively introduce Kabelin Ace Hardware solutions, products, and services to business customers, addressing their specific requirements and challenges.
-Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how to maximize the value of our offerings.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, utilizing HubSpot to submit activity reports, work plans, and territory analyses.
-Collaborate with customers and Kabelin Regional Sales Rep to create quotes, determining the most suitable pricing plans that align with their needs and maximize profitability. Quotes to be approved by the Commercial Sales Manager before releasing to the customer.
-Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, investigating problems, and making recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Stay updated on product knowledge related to hardware, commercial, and consumable products, actively participating in educational workshops and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the overall customer experience.
-Empower, involve, and support the entire store personnel in the B2B sales process, fostering a collaborative work environment.
-Make calls to Kabelin Ace low volume B2B customers thanking them for their business and to help facilitate growth.
-Enter delivery information for customer orders into delivery coordination software.

Compensation Details:
$14 - $16 per hour
Performance bonuses determined by Kabelin Ace Business Supply Sales Manager

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-High School or GED equivalent required.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as being comfortable talking with internal and external customers in any setting.
-Empathetic and patient demeanor.
-Problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
-Possess product knowledge of hardware/commercial/consumable products along with a willingness to learn.
-Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
-Ability and willingness to work flexible hours dependent on business customer needs. Willingness to work weekends as needed.
-Excellent PC skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
-Possess a valid in-state driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company's insurance carrier's standards.
-Sales experience with retail and/or business customers preferred.
-Ability to stand for an extended period, walk, reach, and lift (up to 40 lbs) to perform job duties.
