Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable of trade customers
- Support order approval guidelines
- Manage accounts within credit lines
- Perform risk management of critical past due accounts
- Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed.
- Communicating with clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans.
- Collecting payment from customers and accurately recording them in the system.
- Creating ad hoc reports as needed by leadership.
- Updating client accounts based on payment and or contact information.
- Take action as necessary with past due balances, including identifying and reconciling disputed amounts, problem resolution, provide project leadership to improve cashflow
- Assist in the preparation of financial closing and reporting.
- Foster relationships with trade customers supporting Ohmite's mission "to ensure the success of our customers"
Job Requirements
Skills & Relevant Work Experience
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Critical thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements, prepare and analyze data to provide meaningful recommendations to leadership
- Knowledge of working in ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; emphasis on Excel functions.
- Team player who fosters a collaborative environment within the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers.
- High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Responsible, motivated, and reliable with exceptional work ethic.
- Experience in a manufacturing process environment is a plus.
Education
- Associate's degree or related training / experience in accounting & billing.
- 2-4 years of experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI a plus.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
