Accountant / Bookkeeper Benefits and Compensation:

Accountant / Bookkeeper Job Duties:

• Maintain integrity of general ledger entries.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Process incoming payments accurately.
• Execute special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain accuracy and organization of financial records.
• Implement and oversee cash flow management procedures.
• Facilitate the budgeting process for the organization.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Serve as a point of contact between the organization and relevant authorities.
• Optimize cash management strategies.
• Coordinate and review financial activities of organizational units.
• Supervise various bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, collections, and timekeeping.
• Cultivate strong internal and external relationships.
• Assess and address staffing needs in collaboration with management.
• Offer professional support to staff members.
• Coordinate insurance matters with relevant authorities.
• Supervise staff activities and provide guidance as needed.
• Consult with and advise leadership on business and administrative matters affecting the organization.

Accountant / Bookkeeper Skills/Qualifications:

• AA or Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• 3-5 years in similar position
• Understand the importance of confidentiality
• Strong computer skills with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• QuickBooks experience a plus
• Ability to manage indirect and direct reports through strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must pass accounting and competency test provided by the client
• Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail
