ABOUT THE JOB:

This position is a hybrid remote position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office two to three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Carrollton, TX.

The Accounting Analyst II supervises the McLane Restaurant Accounting Systems department and its teammates. They meet the needs of both external and internal customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform timely setup, changes, activation and inactivation of Customer/Vendor/Supplier & Employee address book records.
  • Set up and/or adjust JDE Access, AS/400 profiles, and Menu/Action/Business security.
  • Send out G/L guide workbooks to franchisees and set up customized G/L guides when returned.
  • Review vendor setups and make necessary address book adjustments (if needed), meeting IRS 1099 reporting guidelines.
  • Spearhead new business functions related to the Accounting Systems department.
  • Evaluate responsibilities of the team and realign resources to ensure that everyone is fully utilized.
  • This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting -OR- significant accounting education and/or experience.
  • Food distribution industry knowledge.
  • High level of JDE knowledge, including the ability to create ad-hoc queries; familiar with JDE files and fields.
  • Understanding of many different systems and program additions/changes and their impacts within JDE.
  • Strong understanding of automated accounting instructions and General Ledger (G/L) accounts.
  • Able to supervise teammates and ensure they understand their departmental roles.
  • Extensive Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Outlook).
