Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring an Accounting Clerk on a lcontract basis.

Work Location: O'Fallon, MO

Summary:
The candidate in this position will be detailed-oriented, organized, and have a focus on quality of work over quantity.
The candidate will be able to work in both a group setting, and alone with minimal supervision.
The position will require the candidate to be able to learn at a reasonable pace and have the ability to recall information learned.
This is an expansive position, meaning that the more the candidate is able to learn, the more items and processes they will be responsible for reviewing.
The nature of the business is to review items validated by our offshore (India) team.
The stateside position in O'Fallon will review the validators work for consistency, accuracy, and process.
This is a quality review/audit position, and the candidate will be responsible for quality review of items in several different validation processes daily.
The position will be responsible for signing off on second reviews, attesting to their accuracy and validity.
This position has a direct customer impact, and the work is subject to adhering to federal regulations and time constraints.

Required Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office.
