POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a qualified full-time Accounting & Contracts Specialist to join our administrative team! This Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, external customers, and vendors to support business functions, as needed.
  • Coordinate and process project contracts and procurement requirements.
  • Administer contract and subcontract setup and payments.
  • Review accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and proper coding, while maximizing efficiency.
  • Working with the ERP system (construction software package Viewpoint) to provide information for the business to operate efficiently.
  • Coordinate Accounts Payable/Receivables, Inventory, Cash Management, Equipment and Job Cost functions and protocols.
  • Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing procedures.
  • Work on special projects and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
  • As a leader, demonstrate organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
  • Cross-train in other areas of business as needed.
This is a full-time position located on-site in Onalaska, WI, working Monday through Friday.

Position Requirements
  • A degree with three or more years of experience, or equivalent experience of five or more years.
  • Experience in contract procedures is helpful.
  • Experience in preparation of financial statements.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Complete multiple assignments and projects on a daily concurrently.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment as well as independently.
