Position Summary: Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining the FAS (Fixed Asset System) and processing data for assigned locations. This position is required to accurately complete month end close and annual budgets as for close locations on a timely basis as assigned. Additionally, monthly billing and collections duties for assigned locations is required. Submitting invoices into the Enterprise Check Request system is expected, as well as sales and use tax filings and handling deposits. Position is responsible for processing Accounts Payable vendor maintenance, backing up other Accounting Coordinators when needed, and completing various related duties including assisting the Accounting Manager as necessary.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the FAS (fixed asset) system, including handling of data and facility capital and asset questions for assigned locations - must have solid understanding of UHS
    capitalization policies Billing and collections for assigned BHC group locations
  • Billing and collections for assigned BHC group locations
  • Accurate and timely completion of month-end close including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, Financial Packages, and budgets as assigned
  • Handling of Accounts Payable vendor master maintenance for various BH facilities
    and locations
  • Compilation of data and completion of the daily census reports for assigned BH facilities
  • Entry and submission of invoices into the Enterprise check request system
  • Completion and filing of sales and use tax returns for assigned entities
  • Handling the deposit of checks received for assigned BHC group locations
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • High School Graduate/GED Required Vocational Technical School Graduate preferred
  • 3 - 5 Years Related work experience required
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong skill level: Excel
  • Must have good communication (written and verbal); interpersonal skills
