Salary Range: $90, 000 - $140, 000 / year DOE

Accounting Finance Manager Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of accounting experience in Controller/CFO roles Master s Degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Experience in real estate management (commercial or residential)
  • Understanding of ownership structures (LLCs, Partnerships, S-Corps)
  • CPA credential is preferred
  • Knowledge of personal/business income taxes is preferred
  • Familiarity with property management software like Yardi, MRI, Appfolio, and Rent Manager is preferred

Accounting Finance Manager Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a financial advisor to guide strategic decision-making internally and externally for real estate investments
  • Oversee bookkeeping functions and coordinate with external CPAs for personal taxes
  • Prepare management and owners'reports on investment performance
  • Collaborate with the VP of Finance to ensure alignment of accounting functions with strategic goals
  • Develop and maintain accounting practices, policies, and procedures compliant with GAAP and legal regulations
  • Produce timely and accurate financial reports for informed decision-making
  • Implement strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and alignment with strategic goals
  • Conduct financial analyses, communicating findings and recommendations effectively
  • Supervise the preparation of confidential financial reports for business owners
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring proactive compliance
