Job Description:

Support various financial activities in the Operations Accounting department. Core responsibilities include working with various finance and non-finance functions to determine monthly program costing, warranty reserve liability and unearned revenue balance. Additionally, this role supports month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close, and internal and external audits.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare monthly close journal entries - balance sheet and costing of project inventory
• Prepare monthly analysis for recognition of unearned revenue
• Prepare quarterly analysis of warranty reserve liability
• Prepare quarterly summary of percentage-of-completion and cost-plus contracts and related reserve position
• Provide monthly reporting/reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Support and update internal controls of related matters to be in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
• Support internal and external audit of related matters
• Be an integral team player on meeting monthly close processes and deadlines
• Assist with Ad Hoc request and reporting as necessary
• Travel domestically less than 5% of the time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Oracle
• Strong Excel skills
• Graduate degree
• CPA

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington State and New York State is $58,500 - $108,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
