Accounts Payable Specialist

An Insight Global client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their accounting team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. We are targeting an individual with an accounting mindset who is eager to learn and enhance their career within an organization experiencing rapid growth. They will report to and collaborate directly with the Controller as well as the CFO to ensure invoices are approved within a timely manner. This person must have the ability to process up to 50 invoices/day, ensuring the timely data entry of invoices into accounting software, and must also possess a high sense of urgency when responding to vendor inquiries regarding payments and invoices. On a daily basis, the Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of invoices, processing invoices, and obtaining necessary approvals from executives within the company, as well as assist with month-end closing procedures. This role is onsite Monday through Friday (8-5) and offering an hourly rate of $30-33/hr. which is dependent upon experience.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3 years of experience in accounts payable preferred.
Experience leveraging Microsoft Dynamics for processing invoices
Knowledge of standard accounting principles or staff accounting
Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of standard accounting principles or staff accounting
