Job Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, verifying appropriate approvals and coding.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and maintained.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process weekly, monthly, and quarterly payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accruals.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and reports.
• Assist with audits and provide support for internal and external auditors as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the accounts payable function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
