Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated AP/AR Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable, excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.

AP/AR Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor records and manage vendor inquiries
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices
• Record customer payments and apply them to the correct accounts
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

AP/AR Specialist Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
