Duties and Responsibilities for Activities Aide:

• Works under the Life Enrichment Coordinator and the Administrator.
• Implements a varied program of activities for residents.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs, interests, and abilities of the residents.
• Maintains a log regarding communication with residents’ families or other responsible individuals, as well as with medical and professional personnel creating a record of residents’ progress and participation in activities.
• Develops and maintains contact with volunteers and coordinates their presence at facility activities.
• Handles all incoming and outgoing mail directly related to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
