Job Description:

RegalCare at Taunton is seeking a compassionate and energetic Part-time Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Your role will be vital in creating a positive and engaging environment that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities for residents.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities.
  • Ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning up after activities.
  • Monitor and report on resident participation and feedback.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive activity program.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for working with the elderly.
  • Basic computer skills.

Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage residents.
  • Patience and understanding in dealing with residents.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and activity planning.

Employment Type:

Part-time job and you will work Thursday and Sunday 9-5.
