Requirements:

• Prior recreation/activities experience in a nursing home is preferred
• An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public

General Responsibilities:

• Planning and facilitating social and recreational activities and events (These may include exercise, trivia, games, bingo, outdoor patio time, parties, etc)

PT shifts include: Wed 8:30a-4:30p, Thurs 1p-4p, Fri 1p-4p and every other weekend 11a-7p.
