Now Hiring: Activity Assistant

Activity Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in activities, ensuring programs are inclusive and cater to diverse interests and abilities.
• Set up and clean up activity spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Provide one-on-one attention to residents as needed to support their participation in activities.
• Assist with special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.
• Document resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director on resident engagement and enjoyment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure activities are coordinated with residents' care plans.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental well-being during activities.

Qualifications Activity Assistant:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursing home or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative and energetic personality with a passion for working with seniors.
• All applicants must be able to pass a Level 2 background check
