Pediatric Acute Care Cardiology Hospitalist Opportunity at Cincinnati Children's.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

We are searching for a physician candidate for a pediatric acute care cardiology unit (ACCU) hospitalist. The ideal candidate should be a board eligible/board certified pediatrician with an interest in cardiology. The hospitalist will be working alongside a team of advanced practice providers, fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students, under the direct supervision of general cardiology and heart failure faculty.

The clinical responsibilities of the hospitalist will include primary coverage of patients on a 29-bed ACCU. These patients have a wide variety of cardiac diagnoses and complex management strategies, including management of pre and post-operative cardiac patients, single ventricle physiology, heart and lung transplant, and ventricular assist devices. The position is full time, 40 hours/week, with rotating shifts that are a combination of weekday, weeknight, and weekends.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience Required:

• Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent

• Unrestricted licensed physician

• Approval/credentialing from Cincinnati Children's Medical Staff Services Division

This position has been approved for new pediatrician or pediatricians with 2 - 8 years of experience.

  • Preferred: Pediatric Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Experience in a specialty area may be required based on the physician's assignment.
