Job Description:

Founded in 1967, Blue Ridge Community College has served the residents of the central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for over 55 years. Its comprehensive program of instruction includes associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in occupational/technical and college/university transfer programs. The College also provides non-credit workforce training and special interest classes for individuals, business, and industry.

BRCC is currently seeking a Life Drawing instructor for a part-time adjunct teaching position. Position may also include foundation drawing and art appreciation courses.

BRCC is currently building a pool of POTENTIAL applicants for credit adjunct teaching positions in this discipline. There may or may not be any positions currently available. However, in order to be considered for current and/or future openings, please follow the application instructions below.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Master's in Art or a Master's with 18 graduate semester hours in Art or related field
Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience teaching life drawing;
2. Community college or university teaching experience;
3. Documented track record of innovation teaching in the classroom;
4. Ability to work well with others.
