Position Title (Classification Title): Adjunct Instructor in Business Writing, Instructor Working Title: Adjunct Instructor Job Summary: To teach undergraduate courses in Business Communications/Business Writing. Department Dept. of Business Administration FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Position Qualifications: Master's degree from an AACSB-accredited institution in Communication or a closely related field including at least 18 graduate semester hours in Communication, coupled with pertinent work experience, and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment. Must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualifications for an Instructor position. Preferred Qualifications A doctoral degree in Communication from an AACSB-accredited institution or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Communication is a definite plus. Regardless of the degree, it must be coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment and the candidate must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualifications for an Instructor position. Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job:
