The Department of Counselor, Leadership, and Special Education at Auburn University at Montgomery ( AUM ) invites applications for an adjunct faculty position. Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Instructional Leadership or the equivalent. A minimum of three years of preK-12 experiences as an assistant principal, principal, or district level administrator is required and experience in public schools is preferred. The successful candidate will teach in an online, face-to-face and/or off-site setting. The candidate will teach graduate level instructional leadership courses, develop and maintain university-school relationships, collaborate with diverse populations, and assume other teaching and professional responsibilities. All instructors are expected to be excellent teachers, responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning, and committed to effective use of technology. In order to teach online, the Adjunct Instructor will be required to complete AUM's Blackboard training and be certified to teach online.
