The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media of Seton Hall University invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach in our on-campus MA in Museum Professions program. The College seeks to engage individuals who value creativity, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach up to two courses per semester
• Each class meets once a week for 2.5 hours

Required Qualifications:

Expertise and ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: archives management, audience research and evaluation, exhibition development, history and theory of museums, legal and ethical issues in museums, museum activism and social issues, museums and communities, museum education, museum fundraising and development, museum leadership and management, museum registration/collections management, or museum technologies.

Licenses and Certificates:

• Earned graduate degree in museum studies, museum education, or related field
• Minimum five years professional experience working in, with, or for museums
• A minimum of two years teaching experience at the college level (preferred)
