WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Teach classes various courses in the Culinary Management A.S. degree program
  • Assess student performance & Submit grades
  • Prepare course materials for in-class and/or e-learning instruction
  • Attend occasional meetings

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge of course content as evidenced by education and/or experience.

Excellent technology and classroom management skills

*Education and experience to meet appropriate certification, licensure, and course requirements will be determined by the Associate Vice President of Workforce Education & Economic Development and/or the Director of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • An Associate's degree or grater in culinary management or related discipline OR ACF certification, CEC or CCE credentials
  • Industry experience in culinary management or related industry

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in culinary management or related discipline
  • Two (2) years of industry related employment
  • Servsafe certification or equal certification/training

Physical Demands:

Employee will be required to regularly sit, stand, talk, hear; walk, reach with hands and arms, life about 40 pounds, kneel, crouch, smell, and taste. Vision requirements include, close, distance, and focus, and be able to determine the color of objects and substances.
