Position Summary
The University at Buffalo (UB) offers a variety of Adjunct Instructor opportunities in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. We seek individuals who can understand and contribute to the School's and University's mission and vision. Assignments include seated or on-line courses in a discipline of expertise of pharmaceutical sciences, PKPD , pharmacometrics, pharmacogenomics, drug transport and design, drug delivery, and related fields.

Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of subject.
  • Provide students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in assigned subject(s).
  • Use University and department learning systems (example, UB Learns) and adhere to good instructional practices (example, published syllabi and holding office hours).
  • Evaluate students' performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
  • Responsible for contributing to and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree with relevant work experience, professional certification, or equivalency will be considered.
  • Terminal degree in the relevant discipline/field.
  • Extensive professional or specialized teaching experience may be substituted for terminal degree.
  • Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary teaching experience in related field such as PKPD , pharmacometrics, pharmacogenomics, drug transport and design, drug delivery, and related fields.
