Responsibilities: Reports to the Dean of Allied Health and Sciences with responsibility for instruction, curriculum development, assessment of student learning, and oversight of laboratory supplies and equipment (for on-ground classes only). Preference given to candidates who understand active learning and divergent learning styles, and who can develop computer and/or video learning modules to support classroom instruction. Work assignments may include online, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Qualifications: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline; previous teaching experience, preferably at a community college; evidence of ongoing commitment to improve teaching and student learning; evidence of the ability to work effectively to meet the educational needs of a diverse student body; good communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
