Adjunct Online Nursing Faculty- RN-to-BSN program

• Cincinnati State Technical and Community College has an opening for Adjunct Nursing faculty members for traditional online courses, and we invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our RN-to-BSN students.

What you will do:

• Provide program instruction, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in Nursing
• Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
• Equip students with the required skill set, facilitating online classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in the nursing profession

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university
• An active, current, unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format
• Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the nursing field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with nursing students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing
• Certified Nurse Educator credential.
• Nursing education experience.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Team player, strong organizational skills, and self-motivated.
• Demonstrated commitment to student and faculty success.
• Knowledge and skill in a variety of computer usage and software are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse professional, community, and student population.
• Possess good organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and the ability to teach students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning-centered environment. Self-disciplined and able to effectively manage others.
