Mulberry Gardens assisted living community offers supportive living environments as well as specialized care for those with early memory loss. Our goal is to provide all residents with the very best quality of life; we offer assisted living and adult day care programs so residents can live their lives to the fullest.

The Nursing Administrative Assistant provides support to The Resident Care Department. This position assists with scheduling appointments, transportation ordering of supplies and updating resident information. You will assist with scheduling staff and working with staff to maintain all records on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Answer all incoming telephone calls, assist within scope of position and transfer or take accurate messages. Responsible for discharge files for storage and maintaining files as appropriate. Maintain ongoing communication with main reception desk for the purpose of updating all pertinent emergency information and client photo books

Follow department and Mulberry Gardens policies and procedures and federal, state and local laws and regulations, where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years' experience as an Administrative Assistant.
• High level proficiency with Microsoft applications especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities - strong organizational skills
• Previous experience working with older adults preferred
• Maintains confidentiality regarding residents, staff and community
