8:00 am -5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours as required, but not too frequent.

Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of the position is (1) to serve as the Administrative Support for the office of International Programs by providing a range of general administrative support functions; (2) to process and record OEA deposits and other travel related financial transactions for the Office Education Abroad (3) oversee reconciliation process as directed by the Business Officer.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and three years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
Essential Job Duties
  • Serve as the Administrative Support Coordinator for the Office of International Programs finance team by providing a broad range of general administrative support functions.
  • Process and record deposits and other financial transactions in support of the financial team in the Office of International Programs.
  • Oversee initial provision of exemplary customer service and accurate information to prospective students, current participants, returning students, faculty, staff, and others.
  • Process payments received daily and their reconciliation through various online systems.
  • Track and report in multiple systems on student payments received.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely data entry (Banner, Excel and Malibu) of student and financial records.
  • Manage student international health insurance enrollment and payment when necessary.
  • Complete travel requests for faculty-led programs.
  • Assist in the administration of scholarships from other departments on campus.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
  • Bachelor's degree with three or more years of administrative office experience or equivalent combination of education.
  • Work experience in the university level with international programs; study abroad office experience or experience living and working internationally preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of campus operations and facilities.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Terra Dotta Software for Study Abroad ( TDS )
  • Concur experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of and ability to work confidently with office productivity software.
  • Knowledge of and ability to work confidently with office productivity software (including MS Office, Google Suite of applications)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (grammar, spelling, proofing/editing capabilities. Ability to deal with a variety of personalities/situations positively and professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail.
