Position Summary

Step into the dynamic world of pharmaceutical sales with a promising opportunity as an Administrative Intern in the Sales department at Empower, an innovative leader in health and wellness medication solutions. This position offers a unique blend of analytical and communicative tasks designed to sharpen your skills and broaden your understanding of the pharmaceutial industry.

As an integral part of the sales team, you will be at the forefront of managing and tracking incoming leads, utilizing advanced prospecting toolslike ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator. This role allows you to dive deep into the art of sales. Your efforts will be crucial in introducing Empower's groundbreaking products and services to a wider audience fostering relationshis that maximize client engagement and satisfaction.

You will also play a vital role in enhancing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. By entering detailed and accurate data for new leads, maintaining up-to-date CRM profiles, and re-engaging inactive accounts, you help sustain the lifeblood of our business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracks and manages all incoming leads from internal sources, inside, and outside sales representatives, and maintains scheduled communications with potential accounts.
  • Will establish and qualify new accounts from internal and external sources.
  • Learns about updated or new products and regulatory changes.
  • Uses prospecting software such as ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator for prospect searches, targeted leads and utilizes digital expertise to determine the best means for initial contact.
  • Will have opportunities to initiate contact with decision makers to introduce company's products and services while leverage Empower's benefits.
  • After completing training, initiates contact with inactive accounts to restart ordering.
  • Will be trained to source new sales opportunities through lead qualification and be able to source independently by end of internship. Will also be able to assist new providers through the new account form set-up process.
  • Responsible for entering all data and new leads in the CRM and maintains each CRM profile with detailed and accurate information.
  • Maintains allocated outgoing calls and emails with a high standard of professionalism in verbal and written communications.
  • Works closely with internal teams to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Pulls invoices for clinics in territory.
  • Assists with bulk portal set-up and login
  • Researches order status and delivery updates for clinics within territory.
  • Works with incident teams to submit and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of college hours for Junior classification status in a Bachelor of Science in a Life Science/Healthcare/Core business competency, required.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, required.
  • Previous experience working in an inclusive, creative, and diverse environment.
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) preferred.
  • ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in outbound call center sales or related sales experience, preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
